Purpose: The Working at Heights Code of Practice is established to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved in tasks performed at elevated levels. It aims to provide a comprehensive guideline to minimize the risks associated with working at heights.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper anchorage points for securing safety harnesses and lanyards are in place before commencing work.

  • Establish emergency procedures for rescue and evacuation in case of a fall or other emergencies.

  • Provide adequate training to all personnel on emergency response protocols.

Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of risk assessments, training programs, equipment inspections, and any incidents related to working at heights.
